After surplus item has been stored for 2 weeks, it will be available for donation to non-profit 501[c]3 organizations which have been approved by the KU Property Accounting Services Department. To confirm that your organization is already approved list, consult the campus Property Accounting Services list. If your organization does not appear on the list, please contact Jeffrey Hunter, Assistant Comptroller, at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 864-3321 to be added to the approved list.
Surplus items will be shown by appointment only and are available on a first-come-first-served basis. No delivery is available, and items may not be returned. Selected items will be considered a donation. Non-profits receiving donated surplus items must present a letter listing the selected items and acknowledging transfer.
